Privacy Policy

HOA Capital (“HOA Capital,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates hoacapital.co to help Florida condominium and homeowners associations learn about and connect with institutional lending partners for funding related to structural inspections, milestone repairs, SIRS reserves, and other capital projects. HOA Capital is a lead-generation and matching service — we are not a lender, a broker of record, or a financial advisor. This policy explains what information we collect through the site and eligibility form, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you complete our eligibility questionnaire, we collect the information you provide about your association — such as unit count, budget, delinquency rate, management status, and SIRS or milestone-inspection timing — along with your name, phone number, email address, and any other contact details you enter. We also automatically collect technical information when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser and device user agent, referring page, and the pages you view, as well as information from cookies and similar technologies (including advertising pixels) that recognize your browser across visits.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to contact you about your association’s funding options, to evaluate and prepare your submission for review, and to share it with institutional lending partners so they can assess your association’s funding eligibility. We also use technical and cookie-based information to measure and improve the performance of our advertising, including sending advertising platforms hashed versions of identifiers (such as a hashed email address or phone number) so they can match conversions without exposing your information in readable form. We may also use information to operate, secure, and improve the site and our intake process.
Who we share information with
We share the information you submit with the institutional lending partners participating in our program so they can evaluate your association’s funding eligibility. We also share information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf under contract, including companies that host our website and database, a customer-relationship-management platform we use to track and follow up on inquiries, an email-delivery provider we use to send notifications, and advertising platforms we use to measure and manage marketing campaigns. These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services for us and are not permitted to use it for their own independent purposes. We do not sell your personal information.
Consent to be contacted
By submitting the eligibility form, you consent to be contacted by HOA Capital and, where applicable, our lending partners, by phone, text message, and email regarding your association’s funding inquiry — including through automated telephone dialing systems, prerecorded messages, or automated text technology. Consent is not a condition of any funding decision. Message and data rates may apply. You may revoke this consent at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message, telling us during any phone call, or emailing privacy@hoacapital.co.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@hoacapital.co. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time. Deleting your information may limit our ability to continue processing an active funding inquiry.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, administer our relationship with lending partners and service providers, comply with legal and recordkeeping obligations, and maintain business records — after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Children’s privacy
Our site and services are directed at association board members and management professionals and are not directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
